Episode 4 Changes to procurement law - What it means for housing
Show Notes

In December 2020, the government set out its plans to change the way public procurement operates in the UK, subsequently launching a three-month consultation on the proposals. In December last year, the government published its response to the feedback it received, and in doing so moved one step closer to what it calls a ‘transformation’ of public procurement - on which around £300bn is spent each year.

With the help of three industry experts, Housing Digital editor Liam Turner takes a look at the proposed changes and how they will affect those operating within the social housing sector.

Panellists:

  • Clare Tetlow, senior procurement manager, Procure Plus
  • David Knowles, senior national account manager, Rexel
  • Kris Kelliher, partner, Devonshires

Host:

  • Liam Turner, editor, Housing Digital
